Getting started
Online store pre-launch checklist
Check products, payments, discounts, mobile shopping and confirmations. A practical list of tests before opening your store to customers.

A finished design does not prove that a store is ready to sell. Walk through the offer as a new customer, then check the result in the admin panel. Record completed tests and reproducible failures.
Products and content
- Names, prices and availability match real items.
- Variant images and data agree.
- No placeholder text or invented reviews remain.
- Contact and delivery details are current.
- Navigation and footer links lead to existing pages.
Complete unfinished pages or remove links to them before launch.
Cart, discounts and shipping
Add several products, change quantities and remove an item. Verify totals. Try valid and ineligible discount codes. Change the address and delivery method, checking that free-shipping messages match checkout.
Payment and orders
Use the provider's test mode for success, rejection and interruption. Inspect the admin order and customer message. Reopening confirmation must not create another sale. Save test identifiers for comparison with logs.
Mobile and accessibility
Repeat a purchase on a real phone. Open menus and dialogs, enter invalid data and test closing controls. Check larger text, visible focus and keyboard operation. A narrow desktop window is not a complete mobile test.
Publication and monitoring
Check the public domain, HTTPS, metadata and unintended indexing blocks. Decide who responds to problems and preserve a working version. Compare the first real order with your tests while keeping customer data out of public reports.
Know when to pause
Do not send paid traffic to broken payments, incorrect totals or lost orders. Fix those issues and repeat the affected tests first. Decorative spacing can wait; purchase correctness needs verification before selling.
